Hugh, at times you seem to be a rather smart old man. Please don't go
out of your way to be ignorant. Unless, of course, whatever Protestant
faith you belong to still believes the Catholic Church is the Catholic

In some cases I am limited by what I read in the news media. If you
have some inside info explaining what he meant by the remark, I'm
listening. He has been strongly criticized for the remark. I didn't
see the remark but I have seen the slams.

Lest you think me anti-Catholic, my strong "anti" positions more
closely resemble the positions of the Catholic Church than the
Methodist.
