Do you see where that might cause confusion?

Um, no. The entire post was 4 paragraphs and I don't think that it
was that difficult to understand or follow.

Paragraph 1 outlined the point of contention for Vick to sit out and
my disbelief that it was even an issue.

Paragraph 2 stated that if the allegations were true, then he
willingly signed a contract knowing his illegal activity.

Paragraph 3 explained what I think the NFL/NFLPA/Falcons should do if
paragraph 2 is true and a concession.

Paragraph 4 stated that this doesn't seem to happen to innocent people
on a regular basis.

If there's any confusion, it's on my part...why do you seem to defend
Vick's rights so vehemently? I don't have a problem with his due
process, I simply think that it's ridiculous that he should be paid
while fighting a battle that he brought on himself (either through his
actual involvement or negligence as a property owner). I don't have a
problem with him being paid the money owed if he is innocent. But I
don't think that the league/Falcons/NFLPA should lose even more money
while this procedes.

If it is your position that he should be paid while not being able to
perform, then that is your perogative. I disagree. To a certain
extent, I believe that he brought this on himself and should not be
paid during the process. If he is guilty, he should not only pay back
the remainder of the contract but also restitution due to his crimes.

He has been given every benefit of the doubt and Arthur Blank went to
bat for him...gave him an enormous contract, wheeled him around the
field when he was injured, made arrangements to get him on the team
instead of Tomlinson, and this is his "gratitude"? Mediocre seasons
followed by a national embarrassment?

Why do you believe that the NFLPA should defend this guy? It is not
their charter, as their charter is for the "players" as a whole.
