Did Clinton receive a briefing about Al Qaeda being determined to hit American targets with planes one month prior to 9/11?
Clinton was in office while AQ set off bombs under the WTC and bombed our embassy in east africa. i'm sure he was briefed plenty on all kinds of AQ activity.
It is noted that you refused to answer the question.
i also would refuse to answer a question about USC vs. Notre Dame in this thread too. your point?
Being able to acknowledge that somebody that you supported could do a better job than they did goes a long way towards building any kind of real dialog.
? i do that regularly. e.g., i've said for quite a while now that bush should pull the troops out of iraq.
There was a enough info to support enhanced security at the airports in 8/01. No new policies would have had to have been created, we obviously weren't running at the highest level of security on 9/11/01. It was a massive national intelligence failure that is embarrassing to me as an American. I remember sitting in bed at night the next few nights after 9/11 and hearing the occasional fighter jet patrolling and thinking to myself, "where the *** do I live again?" It just boggles me that people won't acknowledge the current administrations culpability in this matter and soley want to place the blame on one administration that was in place from 93-01.
to the extent that presidential failure led to 911, i don't blame clinton 100%. he just deserves more of the blame than bush does.

I do not think the United States would come to an end if
we lost our power to declare an Act of Congress void. I do
think the Union would be imperiled if we could not make
that declaration as to the laws of the several States.
