That's your choice. The other half of "blah blah blah" when I actually
wrote words was that the girls might decide to give birth and mess
up their lives that way.

You need to look at the data for Central American Catholic countries, if you
think that coat hanger abortion are "old sad rhetoric."

Since this is the USA, USA data is relevant. deaths from illegal
abortions had practically disappeared before roe v. wade.

They know that far fewer girls
will come in, if they have to put their boyfriend in jail, and may
even resort to dangerous tactics to do a self-abortion.

That depends. If they judge that more good will be done by allowing
girls to lie about their age, then they should probably keep allowing
it.

Not letting the girls do that is more of a criminal sentence than
