My mom (and by virtue subordination, I) used to watch him almost every
day. This was in the years of Jim and Tammy Fay, Earnest Angeley,
before all the scandels. I actually had a lot a respect for the guy.
He was the least boisterous and proud of the bunch, and seemed to walk
the walk.

That's an odd sideline for you to say, unless you think that besides

Who said that a church can't conduct business. No one said anything else
about stealing, and I don't remember Robertson being part of the
conversation up until now.

operation a bazaar in the temple. It's been a matter of debate even
amoung protesant denominations as to whether to sell items in the
church, but most agree that if it's for raising money to conduct
operations that increase the kingdom, finance church events, bake
sales, music sales, book sales are justified outside of the intake of
tithes.

But, i digress. How does paying a CEO of a major operation not
justified. He wasn't a member of the Catholic church and didn't take a
vow of poverty. We pay our pastor a salary.
