? there's nothing messed up about it as long as they aren't
asking the rest of us to pay for their family via welfare,

1) We don't know that they don't recieve federal assistance
in some ways. When they went to the grocery store, the
woman swiped what looked(to me) more like an EBT card than a
credit card. But I cant confirm or deny that they don't.
Someone posted a link to a blog that said they were
"self-sufficient", but this clearly wasn't the case. Whether
the assistance comes exclusively from the community or is a
mix of state/federal dollars and private community donations
I don't know for sure.
I've challenged you once to provide evidence of public $'s.
Are you having difficulty? Seems to me all you want to do is
whine because they aren't grateful enough.
If they really claim their home as "church" there is your
evidence of public money.
well I guess the other side of that is that none of their kids
go to public school, so even though they dont pay property tax
their kids aren't using property tax money......
I thought about questioning along those lines, but I wasn't
certain of voucher/rebate status in Arkansas.
I don't think they have any. When their dad was running a joke of a
senate primary campaign(actually attacking the very right wing
incumbent as being not "family friendly" enough), he was pushing
extremely hard for vouchers for familes that home school. So not only
does he not have any interest in paying property tax, he actually
wants to be paid on top of that to teach his kids that the earth is
6000 years old and that conception comes from prayer to god.
The church thing bugs me from time to time. Too many loopholes in
the status quo concerning churches and taxes.
what they should do in this particular case is just ahve a rule where
if you call a property a church it can't be a primary residence as
well.
It does mention
that their "church" has 100 attendees, which is decent size.
Although it is made up other large families, so it could just be
5-6 groups.
yeah it is like that. he only associates with a very small irrelevant
sect of christianity known as "quivervall" or something like that. I
read a little about it and it seems cult-like.
