yeah it was particularly classy of schilling to bring up personal
issues(bonds' marriage) as well.

Schilling's a punk. And he's not that great either....he's not one of
the top5 pitchers of this generation or anything.

He raises money to fight ALS.

My mother and my aunt (her younger sister) both died of ALS [1]. All
I care about in regards to raising money to help fight it is that it
happens.

thats my point.....with all the money that has been raised and all the
grants.....we haven't been "fighting it" very successfully.

My mother was eight years in her grave when Schilling made his MLB
debut. Seems kind of hard for his fund-raising activities to have
made a difference there.


and since you're mother died have there been many advances in ALS
prevention and therapy?

him OK with me.
