The delete log is kinda funny. Says at various times that the page
is created as a vanity or attack page among several newsgroup
members. Also says it fails to assert notability. Also that there
are thousands of newsgroups and there is no justification for this
one. Well then I say poo on them. Someone should update the FAQ
with a tag at the top that says WIKIPEDIA so that the FAQ shows up
when you google wikipedia RSFC that would rule.

Reading through the delete logs on many pages is fascinating. It's
the same people over and over with the same justification "not widely
known enough" or "local content".

Wikipedia used to be a cool way to look up info on just about
anything or anyone, then it got popular, then it became a cult.

It is probably too big a task to be kept accurate or up to date in any sort
of rational way. I have seen tons of flat out errors on it regarding the
sorts of things that are argued about in this forum often enough to not
trust it much at all.

It also doesn't help that you do get idiots like Panks making their own
entry submissions about themselves. I for one think it is about as
important as making sure one of your children has a Myspace page for
usefulness. RSFC is here. It is a cesspool. We all swim in it.
