They did a great job snuffing out a very serious plot and took
appropriate corrective action. Yeah, it will be a pain not
taking liquids or gels on a flight, but everyone can deal with
it. However if not "going about our business" what are we to
do?

And the war on terror continues to get dissed as some Bush /
Blair warmongering gleefest.

That's probably because they turned it into one. When they
wrapped Iraq into the same war, they lost a lot of legitimacy
with a great number of people.

Of course a recent poll showed that 51% of Democrats want Bush to
fail in general. Fifty-one percent. Even with Clinton, you
didn't see 51% of Republicans wishing that anything Clinton did
would fail.

And of course, you can back up your assertion.

Heck, I think right after his admissions of being with Monica, 51%
of Democrats were angry at him and wanted to see him fail.

Did they want his economic policies to fail?

Yes, because he "raised taxes in a recession" they wanted his policies
to fail to prove their orthodoxy about taxes. The economic success of
the 1990's is an inconvenient fact for the tax-cut true believeres.

These Democrats want everything that Bush does to fail.

You're projecting. Bush had the support of the whole country,
including most Democrats, before he invaded Iraq. He's the author of
so many people's mistrust of him.

He started losing the support on 9/12, maybe 9/13. It's gradually grown
now that 51% of Democrats are openly rooting against him, instead of just
doing it behind closed doors.

Facts don't really intrude into your world at all, do they?

They're so inconvenient.
