what a farce..

In what way?

You dislike the PK format, or what?

dislike PK format. like settling a basketball game with a game of
HORSE or free-throw contest.

I think you'd find this article interesting.
http://www.slate.com/id/2144182/

interesting indeed. an article on the web sites today said the
german goalie had a slip of paper with the shot tendencies of the
argentinian strikers in his sock (culled from watching film of them
from the last 3 years of play), and referenced it between kicks. it
worked - the kickers kicked to their tendencies and he was able to
block some.

Bah. piss on it all. I've been a goalie. Blocking penalty kicks
is more an accident then any skill however you cut it.

You played sokker, Chaz? I knew there was something French about
you...

Dood I told you all I played soccer. It was something to do to develop the
skills used in actual sports. I was a shorstop/second basemen. In middle
school they had soccer in the fall. Also football. I played both. Soccer
goalie skills are very similar to the side to side movements of a middle
infielder in baseball. BASEBALL IS AMERICAN AS IT GETS AND ALL OTHER SPORTS
BOW AT THE FEET OF BASEBALL!!!!
