It's OLD! It's like the old Star Wars vs. the new Star Wars! Nothing
can beat the original! If the original wasn't so good, the new stuff
never would have happened! Precedence demands superiority!
Ergo, I am older than kids, therefore I dominate them at PONG!

The original can be trumped. Star Trek the Next Generation was a
WAY better television series then the original.
In all seriousness, I watched the first few episodes when it
launched (ha!), and it didn't do anything for me. If I hadn't love
the old crap so much as a child, maybe it would have taken. I also
can't stand Edward James Olmos, or whatever his name is, as an
actor. Bad casting, in my humble opinion, and the "re-telling"
aspect was uninteresting to me. It was like the re-telling of
_Planet of the Apes_ in that sense: you just don't *need* to change
the original.
I like the newer series better but that is just because I never
liked the original.
Well, you're just gay then!
Hah! You like them alumial cylons? You are gay.
