Hardly. In 1942 there were already several movies out that covered
the attack on Pearl Harbor; do you suppose many people found those
"demoralizing"?

But anyway, I think I saw the photos from Abu Greib for a couple
years longer than the 9/11 videos were on. What were you saying
about "not showing victims"?

Iraq -- besides being such a worthy thing to do to get rid of Saddam --
was owed by the US to the Iraqis for encouraging the Shiite and Kurdish
uprising in '92 and then standing by and watching Saddam slaughter them
wholesale. The no-fly zones were put into effect over northern (Kurdish)
and southern (Shiite) Iraq to finally protect them from genocide.

We owed a big blood debt to Iraq for that one.
