Will Favre make an announcement at the USM Black & Gold game?

As much as I like the guy, this off season's "retirement watch" is
really pathetic. He should have let the Packers know weeks ago what he
was going to do because, even though they say otherwise, I think it
really would have dictated how they were going to approach this off
season. It really is unfair.

I admire the talent the guy has shown, but as a Bears fan ...

"Please go back to MS."

His record against the Bears over the years (not counting last year -
when the Packers were decimated by injuries) just makes me sick to my
stomach. Even in the 13-3 year a few years ago, 2 of those losses
were to, well, him.

Golf is a great game, Brett.

GO GLASSMAN!!! er Grossman

Or "Wreck" - if you want to take a local papers spin on it.

actually the Be*rs would be better with Orton...

Grossman has the better arm, but I think history has established that
Rex is one solid hit away from 9-12 months of involuntary vacation.
The front office put themselves in the position of having to play Orton,
because they made no "doomsday" plan, and Hutchinson got even worse.

Will Grossman break the curse of the mediocre Gater QBs in the pros? I
don't know if he'll ever be healthy enough to find out.

Orton has been getting a raw deal here in Chicago. Everyone just
bad mouths the guy, talking about how he "hit the wall" and that was
the best he had. What do the locals want from a kid straight out of
college? Everyone was spoiled by BEN.
