It's just a shame, however, that the group could not bring themselves to
thank -- or even mention -- the brave special forces who rescued them. You

And parse it as carefully as you might, you will not read one word
mentioning how they were "freed." They did, however, manage to get in that
the "illegal occupation of Iraq" is the "root cause that led to the
kidnapping."

I suppose it's too hard for a group like that to admit that the
warmongering Yanks and Brits had to be ones to rescue them -- but you'd
think good old Christian humility would let them swallow their pride and
offer a bit of thanks to the folks who risked their lives for them.

Yet more proof the truth just doesn't suit liberals' platform at all.
