This meme is just so ridiculous. It's full of half truths and
innuendo to try and make Bush look bad. The AP attempts to point
blame at the Federal level when its really the State and Local levels
that bear the brunt of the blame here. The only blame the federal
government really has on this one is the construction of the levees
themselves, hardly something you can blame Bush on...

It's on VIDEO!!! He's shown being told on video that this is the BIG
ONE....And three days later he's saying that "NO ONE COULD HAVE
PREDICTED THIS!!!".

Yeah, the storm was over and it looked like things were going to be ok.
I don't think ANYONE could have predicted that the levees were then
going to break. Especially the levees that were only a few years old
and were rated to withstand a Cat3 storm. Especially when the storm
that actually hit New Orleans was a Cat1 storm. But if it helps you
sleep better at night to just BLAMEBUSH, go ahead.
