The real question is do they care enough to keep the democractic system
that has been offered to them enough that they would give their life
for it. It remains to be seen, but this can't be good.

I have held all along that you can't install a democracy, the people
have to want it, and I'm not so sure that the Iraqi people even
understand the opportunity they are being given. There are no Ben
Franklins, James Madisons or Thomas Jeffersons involved in this new
democracy. Only Ahmed Chalabis.
