Actually, for the last seven years my step-daughter's mother should have
been paying child support to us. However, since she has been living beyond
her means for sme time, she put on the crocodile tear act in the courtroom
and the judge did not make her pay. CA's CS is determined by a custody
time/income of both parents formula. We have 50% custody and she makes a
substantially larger income than my husband, so by the law she should be
paying.
