bingo. That statement right there is pretty much what it comes down
to. If a teenage girl(or guy) doesn't have self respect or confidence
in themselves, they are far more likely to make poor decisions and do
things they will regret later. It's up to the parent to foster that
development. And that's a darm hard job. It's a lot harder than
scratching your ass and making a *** of yourself by talking trash to
teenage boys, but it's also a lot more important.

true. very true.

Just from my own experience in high school, it was clear a lot of the
girls whose dads were overbearing assholes who pulled the kind of ***
many in this thread claim to have done(or will be doing when their
daughter grows up) turned out to be incredibly promiscuous and whored
themselves out to multiple guys.......and decent guys were too
disgusted to even hit it. But the girls everyone respected and made
good decisions.....they didn't get that way because their parents
threatened to squash some guys nuts or whatever. Almost the opposite
in fact......
