beautiful day. gorgeous.
the teams seem to like the format....and getting to face every team at
the tournament.....
we've been getting athletes to fill out a survey about the
tournament...and those results will be discussed next week.
Observers are doing well...some working their first tournaments.

Pitt went 4-0 on the day, beating Tenn 15-10, coming from behind(i
hear) to beat Florida in overtime 17-15, Cornell 15-13 and Virginia
15-11.....they play Maryland, NCState and UNC in the morning.
Florida was 3-1 on the day with wins over NCState, North Carolina and
Maryland, and the before mentioned loss to Pitt....they play Cornell,
Tennessee and Virginia tomorrow.
Tennessee was 3-1 with the loss to Pitt and wins over NCState, Maryand
and North Carolina.....they play Virginia, Florida and Cornell.
Cornell was 2-2 with wins over North Carolina and Maryland to start
the day, and lossess against Florida and Tenn to finish the
day.....they play Florida, Virginia and Tennessee.
Virginia was 2-2 with a win over Maryland, a loss to North Carolina, a
win over NCState and a loss to Pitt.....they play Tenn, Cornell and
Florida.
North Carolina was 1-3 with a win over Virginia and losses to Cornell
by 2, Forida by 3 and Tennessee by 5.....they play NCState, Maryland
and Pitt.
NCState was 1-3 with losses to Florida, Tenn and Virginia, but ended
the day with a 14-11 win over Cornell.....they play North Carolina,
Pitt and Maryland.
Maryland lost to Virginia, Cornell and Tennessee, all 15-10, and lost
to Florida 15-6.....they play Pitt, North Carolina and NCState.
