uhmmm, on one of the 4 episodes i watched last night at the very end
of the show peter gave a short little lecture on how people shouldnt
be gettin there values from a tv show AND IF there were a show on tv
that they found offensive they should simply turn it off. was he
wrong about that? sure seemed like seth talkin through peter there.
hey stewie....have you ever thought that seth is simply covering his
ass by sliming out of all the stuff they slam on that show? he seemed
to do the same thing on the whole "gay rights" issue on bill maher
prior to anyone calling him out. I would think that part of his
schtick is that he makes fun of all these people then simply blames it
on his characters. I mean, one would be a fool to think that these
types of displays dont propegate that mentality(even if just
subliminally)......as his show, to a certian extent AND depending on
where you sit, glorifies gay (amoungst other things) bashing. so
maybe you are simply another sucka that has bought into seths bull***
explination.

The moral of the story? Take offense or not to whatever you want but
ask yourself if you truly are offended by Toad or just don't like him.
Don't be one of those douchebags who acts offended by gay and racial
slurs in front of the right people but use them and laugh about it
when you're just around friends...

vapidness.......i do. so just because some dont find it funny (for
what ever reason they want) dosent mean others cant find it funny
(again, for their own reasons). but speaking of jew jokes.......peter
had me in stiches last night in a "flashback" scene where he converted
to judaism just for the extended x-mas(and gifts). he told fellow
jews, while going into the synogog....."i went to buy some stuff and i
"us'ed" em down".......as well as another classic line or two. so are
you saying i should be laughing at this because it s funny joke(albeit
at the expense of jews).......OR that i should laugh at the the fact
that peter is a jewist.........OR that i shouldnt laugh at all because
its too vapid?????? remember now, it IS a comedy..........you said
so.........stewie.

I disagree about "Weinstein," but when it comes to the issue at hand,
"too vapid to be funny" sums it up perfectly.

or one could look at it as your types being too uptight and pc to
appreciate it. either way, seth obviously dosent think these jokes
are too vapid to be funny or he wouldnt be using them to gain laughs,
thus viewers, thus advertisers, thus money. He knows what he's
doin.......and i know that YOU think you know what he's doing too but
yours is the kind that hes got to fool with his "it all peters fault"
spinn. I think it may be that you are just a little put off by the
thought that seth is actually a lot more like brian (who is me) as
opposed to stewie (who is you).
