I'm working on an iphone app for keeping track of stats during games.
Stats are saved to a local database, and individual player stats are
calculated and displayed when requested.

I have most of the front-end stuff done, and most of the database
stuff done. What I haven't even started is figuring out a way to push
the stats online (for others to view) and to pulltournament
schedules, opponent info (RRI, roster) from some online database. I'm
interested in collaborating with somebody, whether it is FFINDR or
whomever, to do this. I can offer to make the app resemble, in style,
yoursite, and I can even name it after yoursite. If you know how to
program for iPhone then I could share code.

However, you should know that I'm pretty busy and I only devote 4-8hrs
per week to this... and I usually end up spending half of that trying
to remember what I was working on last.

And to the original poster: I don't think the UPA would be reluctant,
but they are undergoing an IT overhaul right now. It might be worth
asking when they are done. I think you might be able to get read-only
access to their database. It isn't terribly different from what score
reporter does.

Let me know if you are interested...

Thanks for your help.

Just a word. I wrote a simple stat recorder for a computer.
specifically, it was meant to be used with a tablet. It worked nicely,
but was just not fast enough to keep track of what we wanted to for
high level ultimate. If you want to keep track of every throw, you may
need to do some serious thinking about the user interface. it is a lot
more difficult that you may think.
