Care to summarize? You seem to ask each candidate separate questions.
1) Referees: if you read the UPA guideline for Board members, it states that
they are under sworn oath to uphold Spirit of the Game.
Therefore, the UPA's bylaws would need to be rewritten for anyone to answer
this question honestly. Candidates can chime in their opinion all they want
but unless they commit to rewriting the constitution of the UPA, it doesn't
matter.
I can say that from my own experience playing with referees, it is very
liberating. However, I'd also add that the rules that I was playing by with
the referees made a lot more sense than anything the UPA has put out.
