SOM Photo Contest

In case you missed the earlier post, although the Score-O-Matic had
limited coverage of this year's UPA College Championships (wish I'd
been there to watch the back to back universe points in the women's
semis), we are running a photo contest.
If you took pictures a the tournament you can win one of two Gaia gift
certificates for $35. The SOM has a sweet new multi-photo upload
module that allows you to quickly upload and tag up to 10 photos at a
time, and we're looking for feedback and suggestions from users after
they give it a try.
The first prize to be awarded will be for the best photo (as rated by
viewers) featuring a 2007 Callahan candidate. The second prize goes
to this year's best general tournament picture.

and check back periodically to view and vote on the new photos! There
are already some good shots, including a nice shot of Heijmen's 5-year
old nephew throw a perfect flick. There's your between game
entertainment.

ps: this year you can upload pictures to the Score-O-Matic without
signing the UPA's Recording Partnership Agreement. We've signed the
Agreement and individual photographers uploading pictures to the SOM
need only sign the agreement if they are taking photographs for
commercial use.
