mplayer (with win32codecs) plays pretty much everything on linux.

My friend ran it on linux. I'm not sure what codecs he had installed,

ratio should be 16:9.

Did everybody look tall and skinny when you watched it in mplayer?

Yeah, the aspect ratio was messed up.

mplayer Pike-Metal.wmv -monitoraspect 1

The above option seemed to fix it.
