There's a lot of IP addresses in there, most of which I assume are

This information is still indicting.

Namely, this.
X-Yahoo-Post-IP: 67.124.156.98

Look at the output of the last several lines of a traceroute of the IP
address in my original post:
15 core2-p3-0.crchil.sbcglobal.net (151.164.43.255) 37.592 ms

Now look at the last several lines of output of traceroute on IP
address 67.124.156.98:

Those who are familar with the basic architecture of the internet
should now be convinced that Bobby = Frank. I'll take a stab at
explaining why to everyone else.

All information on the internet is passed between a series of routers
(servers). To access a server in France, for example, information from
that server is passed to many different routers before being sent to
your computer. This is because your computer is not directly attached
(via wire, satellite, or otherwise) to the computer in France, but your
computer *is* attached to computer that is connected to a computer that
is connected to computer (and so on)...that is connected to the server
in France.

Traceroute is a program that determines which routers are on the path
from your computer to any given computer on the internet. It is the
analog of driving directions. If you want to send data to another
computer, traceroute displays the route that it takes.

What does this all mean here? Well, it is not absolutely true that the
routers closer on the list of routers in the traceroute output (the
higher the number, the closer internet-wise to destination) are
geographically (physical world) closer to the destination computer, but
it is generally true. That the outputs are identical except for the
last three lines suggests that Bobby and Frank posted from computers in
the same location. We can also safely assume that both Bobby and Frank
are subscribers to sbcglobal.net's dsl service.

Also, look at the naming scheme for sbcglobal.net's servers.
Specifically, look at patterns STRING in xxxxxxxx.STRING.sbcglobal.net.
crchil, crkcmo, crdnco, crsfca. I don't know what 'cr' mean, but the
last four letters are city, state. Chicago, IL, Kansas City, MO,
Denver, CO, San Fransisco, CA. So this also indicates that both Bobby
and Frank post from computers in 'tn' CA, whatever 'tn' stands for.
(Perhaps 'pltn' means Pleasanton?)

That the traceroute program timed out on the second input means that
that computer is not on right now.

All in all, to me, this just says Frank posted this stuff from another
computer. I think it is very safe to claim that Bobby and Frank, if
not the same person, live very close to each other, and that, dischoops
having the rather small following that it has, Bobby and Frank worked
together on this.
