Want funny?

Key technicality was insufficiency to process...not sending a copy of
motion to defendant (UPA).

Defendant was much wiser. They signed off on where they sending their
motions to.

So, whats in Gainesville?

Looks like Will's affidavit is temporarily down, hopefully to address
this issue. Good spot, hopefully it gets cleaned up.

For the record, UPA's counsel was sent a copy of everything and then
refused to accept service after saying over the phone that they would.
Also for the record, the upa has brief, complaint and affidavits for
both plaintiff and defendant, yet only chose to post their own on the
webpage. If they were actually trying to be informative they would have
included both.
The motion to dismiss was pushed aside during the hearing and the
merits were discussed. I chose to dismiss the case not because of
anything filed by the defendant, but because even if an injunction were
granted, there was a possibility that I could lose in trial after
nationals (getting a trial date before nationals wasnt possible) and
any accomplishments that our team had at regionals and nationals would
be stripped at that time. I certainly was not willing to risk that.
I would ask that the upa post on their webpage complete documents on
the case, and not just the ones produced by their own counsel.
