It's fun to be actively a part of the tournament for more than two
games. That is, 4 or 5 games that actually do matter towards the
tournament outcome, rather then 2 and then into the consolation
bracket.
A couple years back we went to regionals as the 15 seed, losing to
first Stanford (though we were the longest game of the first round,
giving Stanford a very good game), and then Whitman by two, after
leading for most of the game. All that was left was to play Gonzaga
for 15th. Yeah, we held seed (imagine sarcastic tone)! The only team
we played from outside our section was Stanford. Lame.
I guess the point is, I hear ya Holstein!
