The email below was supposed to only go out on Saturday... :-)

Hi,

I hope all is well.

It has been a while since I last sent Beach Ultimate news, so there are
a lot of things to tell you :-) I am usually a man of few words, so
here is a list of some of the most interesting Beach Ultimate recently:

On 20 February we launched a new (and objective) Spirit of the Game
rating system.

The feedback and adoption of our beta version has been very good. From
the Philippines and Columbia, to the US and France. 20 tournaments will
test the SOTG system this year.

The BULA blog.

Although not new (it was launched 1 January) the BULA Blog has many
entries that I think you'll like. From crazy Beach Ultimate videos and
information about the World Championships in Brazil, to Beach Ultimate
trivia and silly games to play with a disc :-)

Tournament reports and tournament pictures.

Las Palmas and Los Angeles were the first two tournaments covered by
our international blog correspondents Ian Cuddihy and Brian Calle. Now
it's Paganello's turn.

Although a planned strike in Italy could severely affect the
tournament, Will Halliday, a Catch 22 player from the UK, will be
covering the tournament day by day.

The Wikibook of Ultimate Games and Cheers (WUGC).

Like the Wikipedia, you can add and edit content on this online book of
cheers, songs, post-game games. No need to register. Like in Word, you
add and edit online. Share those great songs, games, and cheers with
all of us! :-)

Soooo... as you can see, just some fun stuff to remind you of those
warmer days :-)

Keep 'em flying

P.S. We are looking for the roots of Beach Ultimate... We have found
that the oldest tournament (1989) was Death on the Beach in Texas
(later TBUF). Do you know anyone that played (semi) organized Beach
Ultimate in the 1980's?
