I never suggested, offered, or even thought of challenging anyone for
their nickname. I thought if anything it was kinda cool that 3 teams
independently, and with no intention of stealing someone else's name
came up with the same thing. To take it a step further, it could mean
that both teams have a "sister" team on the other side of the country.
We already share the same name, if any of them are looking to pick up
at a west coast tournament that we are attending, they can play with
us.

HC, NYU, and LSU...so that's 3 teams sharing that name as well...
However what does it really matter if they share the same nickname? At
least for us its not like we're real likely to ever play the Hampshire
College team. And as an Open team we probably won't be playing the
Linfield women anytime soon. However they too are welcome to pick up
with us at open or mixed tournaments.
