Re: ESPN Covers Ultimate

If it is going to get aired...any of it...it will be aired on the Sportscenter that starts...2 minutes ago.

The players showed up at 9am, were in uniforms (black and white), the field was lined with a Port-a-field, we took 20 seconds between score
and the next pull, and the play was pretty high-caliber...so, we
pretty much did everything we could.

If we don't get one second of airtime, well, it was still fun and maybe we got into the head of some ESPN folks. And showed the game to a bunch of kids that were watching. Well worth it.

Here's hoping,

Yeah, no joke.

12+ of the Sockeye guys crashed ESPN's coverage of a freestyle
competition (part of the 50 states in 50 days campaign) by setting up a
mini-field next door. After about an hour of being ignored, persistence
paid off, and the ESPN cameras switched over from freestyle to the
ultimate game. Though I was not in attendance, it was reported that
30-45 minutes of the game was filmed.

We have no idea when and where (or if) this will be aired, but when/if
it does it should rep the sport well.

If anyone out there catches this on tape, please pass it along.

Thanks.
