My point is, while the defense may still not have anything to lose in
making a pick call (legit or not), they would have less to gain by
making the call. Thus, some of the incentive for making a marginal call
would be gone.
All I want to do is eliminate those situations where a pick call
indirectly causes a turnover. It happens a lot, and it sucks, IMO. Does
anyone agree with me, or should I shut up about this?
