"On a stall, you'd continue until the outcome of the pass was
determined, but you'd have to hear the "contest" or "no contest" to
know what to do afterwards if the pass were incomplete. The contest
call is often not immediate, and not very loud. "
why? isn't a contested stall on an incomplete pass still a turnover?
why would you have to wait to ''know what to do afterwards?" just
sprint to the endzone and score on their stalled butts. and why do
people contest a stall anyway? if youre holding it long enough for the
marker to even think it's a stall, then youre not really helping out
your offense very much.
