Re: stalls and stoppage of play



In the meanwhile, i.e., before the rules get updated to make it a
stoppage (if it *ever* happens), if you don't know what to do because
you either haven't heard the contest/no-contest or they're not
immediately saying anything, you can easily make it a stoppage anyway.
Just invoke the rule about when confusion happens, it's commone
practice to stop play and then restart with a check. That gets you the
stoppage you're suggesting, which makes sense if either side is getting
a competitive advantage by the confusion (which I assume is its
intention).
