that you cannot see discrepancy in the application of ball tampering
guidelines speaks volumes for your lack of bias.-
You are too stupid to realize that after Hair correctly applied the
laws in 2 cases and was punished for it (actually it was Hair and
Doctrove who applied the laws, but only Hair who was punished) no
Which begs the question why Hair? All the umpires' decisions were
upheld eventually even though the cheif referee deemed the umpires to
have overstepped. The other umpire is still working. Perhaps it had
more to do with his asking for money (in secret), bringing a racial
discrimination case, being a general ass, and putting his fellow
umpires (Koertzen and Doctrove) and the umpire overseer guy at ICC and
the ICC in embarrasing positions. Even then his contract was not
cancelled and he remained on the panel for the remainder of his
contract. ICC as the employer had the right to not give a new
contract. Most places you wouldn't be working right away after what
Hair did to his employing company. He got treated with kid gloves
because of his supporters in the ICC.
umpire in the world will be brave enough to apply these laws
rigorously.
