Enjoying this convo with yourself? Can anyone join, or do you need a
medical certificate?
The one who needs a medical certificate is quite obviously you,
Creevey.
Quite what you hope to gain from this is, frankly, beyond me.
Norm at the Inn is quite obviously not me, in fact I'd suggest you ask
Anonymous, if you're really interested.
I'm no IT expert, as you've been so keen to point out, but Norm
appears to be posting from Mulgrave, in Victoria.
However, even if it were me, so what?
You post here under more different names than anyone, so you'd be best
be careful about throwing stones
Norm is posting through a service provider in Mulgrave which appears
to provide something of a proxy address. I don't see any technical
reason it couldn't be anyone, but I don't think it's our Tim. If I
were to be laying money, I'd be going with an outside bet and accuse
Calvin of playing games - unless Michael is being unnecessarily
clumsy. SA seems to be a bit beyond "Johns" capabilities. While the
groundwork with the account history is about as subtle as a month-old
fish, it's still too subtle.
That's interesting.
You obviously know Calvin better than I do.
Certainly as the webmaster for a well-known private Uni, I'd suppose
he has both the access and the technical know-how to do such things.
But would he be that pathetic? Well, you know him and I don't.
And he was the one who started the crossover thread from
rec.sport.soccer .
Michael, as it happens, is posting through a provider based in SA. If
it's a new one, I'd be careful MC. There were a few SA-based
providers with significantly dodgy histories - I hope Westnet is not a
pheonix effort from one of these.
That would be ironic, given that MC has a history of using dodgy
posting names here, several of them rising phoenix-like from the ashes
of some of their previous incarnations.
Did I mention I'm with Optus too, Tim. I hope they are working well
for you. My connection is dodgy this evening.
Mine's been fine, but thanks for your concern
