I don't know how relevant that IPL is, or whether this version of the
game is an abomination and whether all this fad will pass.
But to me, it's just exciting if not enlightening to see Warne keep
his skip, conducting his musical pieces brilliantly. Quite inspiring
stuff there.
Translation: I'm just a slave to dickhead thinking. I'm not supposed
to like IPL because all these elite guys, ex-cricketers & fuddy-
duddies say so. And I have used my own stupid logic based on
irrelevant things to conclude that I'm supposed to dislike IPL & love
Test cricket. Yet, these IPL shows hit-and-giggle stuff like 'Warne vs
Tendulkar', Murali vs Sangakkara, Sachin-Sanath, Flintoff vs KP
battles. This is a game designed purely for batsmen. Yet, there is
beautiful spin bowling display Ojha, Kumble & Warne & the fury of Lee
& Malinga
Also, if this is supposed to be hit and giggle, why don't I see the
giggling in the matches. The players are biting their nails as though
their future depends on this one over.
Crazy. May be I should do my own thinking & look inside my own biases
to really explore the world in its full wonder & beauty
