Like I said, the USA is the only country that can take down Australia

Sorry, I missed the 'current time' bit. I was thinking ahead a bit,
say in 5-10 years, or even a bit later if the reasoning was food/water
(which isn't a big issue today).

Obviously the US. What about Russia?

Also 'take down' probably needs defining. Is it 'make the federal
government surrender' or 'full occupation of the civilian population'?
