As Jon Agnew says:

"That game has now been classified as a draw, so if you're losing,
you sit in the dressing room, don't come out and you can get away
with a draw."

seems like a dangerous precedent.

Fair enough but why does Agnew not recall that Hair was declared the
guilty party in that entire epiosode and =A0banned from all
international cricket for about a year. The Pakistani team was cleared
of any wrondoing that Hair accused them of, . and their captain only
received a light sententence for violating the spirit of the game

And that they were certainly not losing at the time:)

Well they were certainly having an awful lot of difficulty bowling the
opposition out.

To follow Agnew's logic further: If you are losing get the coach to
talk to the match referee to tell the umpire that the other side is
tampering. The umpire will then penalize the winning team who will be
outraged and protest for sometime in which the umpire will forfeit the
match.
And that is how you win a losing match:)
