He toured a country that made monkey chants. An opposition bowler
called him monkey. If I were him I would have heard "monkey" when
Bhajji said "teri maan ki ch..." especially if I don't know what maan
ki means. I would not be surprised if he still has doubts as to what
Bhajji actually said to him
Its high time that everyone in India understands Monkey is not
equivalent to Hanuman. Its a racist taunt. We haven't experienced
racism and frankly the general population has no idea about racism and
how serious it can get. We should be sensitive to foreigners who have
experienced it . In a way making a "monkey" remark is pretty similar
to making a "sardarji" joke on bhajji. Bhajji can take the sardarji
joke from his team mates maybe. But not from opposition players.
PS: On a side note I wonder if we take an opinion from the West Indian
players who would they consider more racist? Ponting or Bhajji?
You are of course right.
Crowds in India need to be controlled especially now that 'monkey' is not
an accepted word.
Hate Symonds the person think hes a two faced tinkered *** but he
shouldnt be lynched for being black.
BUT if he can break a pact once, he can again, they're probably planning
something as we speak for October.
I wonder how the *** gets treated when he walks into a fancy
department store in Sydney[ if there is such a thing in convictland],
Denzel W couldn't get a cab in NYC!
