But after seeing the first test and second test, Wasim just floored me

After VVS, I feel that he is the most stylish player in this team.
Some of the shots he played yesterday were worth watching over and
over again for style, execution, timing and placement. Still he has to
prove himself in Australia, but I am confident that he will come
through. He still does not move the legs that much, but at least he
is not afraid to pull or hook and has good horizontal shots, which
may serve him good in Australia.

I disagree here. What differentiates him with VVSL is the quickness
with which the latter moves into position to play the hook/pull. From
the evidence in this series, Jaffer is too slow most of the time on
the hook. If he decides to do anything but duck against Tait and Lee
in Oz, he'll have to sort out this problem pronto.

While he was all class today, it's also undeniable that Pak's bowling
was mostly rubbish, with an unending supply of half-volleys on the
legs and short, wide ones outside the off. And Pak's fielding today
was way worse than even ours.

As far as Karthick - It looks like he can not do anything right after
leading the run chart in the England series. His spot is in danger of
being taken away by Gambhir or Sewag, if he does the same in the
second innings.

I hope Sehwag gets a look-in; he opening in Oz is something worth
waking up to at 4 am :)
