Saw Raina batting for India A and he was batting quite fluently.
However, he dropped two catches (one a sitter) but fielded well and
did the crucial run-out of Morkel.
Having just seen the India A vs SA A match, Badrinath batted very well
with 88*
how did kaif's batting/fielding look? i see he has a not very high
strike rate but at least he is scoring runs. did he look at all like a
come-back kid? cricinfo commentary reports the runout at the end makes
it appear like he has not lost his abilities in that department.
His fielding abilities MINUS poor catching is NOT good enough to get him an
India cap......
India has Sehwag, Raina, Rohit Sharma, Manoj Tiwari, Badrinath, Uthappa,
Gambhir for the time being to REPLACE and ROTATE the aging triumvirate of
SCG, RD and SRT.....
Kaif should never get a chance ahead of any of these batsmen.....
