On point 4, why don't they just go back to what they used to do in
the World Series Cup? They would use 2 balls, one from each end.
The balls would only be 25 overs old each by the end of the match,
rather than this idea of playing with one ball for 35 overs and then
suddenly changing it for one in a significantly different condition.

Also, do you know how flexible the 35 over mark is? Consider that
the ball is damaged after 20 overs and is replaced. Would it still
be replaced prior to the commencement of over 36? Consider that the
ball is damaged halfway through the 35th over and is replaced. Do
they then replace it again 3 balls later? If the answer in the first
scenario is YES and the answer in the second scenario is NO, I wonder
where the "cut off" point is.
