When CAS says it has no jurisdiction it is accepted. When the

why do not people now condemn CAS for letting them off on a
technicality? Why didn't they do what the tribunal failed to do
and punish the players no matter what the rules (laws) and
particulars of the case. If they have upheld the law so had the
tribunal.

of course, the law that the tribunal upheld was totally lame.

Couldn't be anymore lame than being accused of tampering without any
proof with twenty six cameras on ... but that was the law...

no proof was required for the tampering accusation.
the umpires' opinion was all that mattered.
and the law in question is still on the books.
otoh, the pcb doping laws/rules have been changed, since they were
obviously
inadequate.

So?
Having it still on the books does not make it a good law. For a long
time it is in practice never going to be used without some proof and
yes then one day it will happen again because it is on the books may
be a hundred years down the road just like underarm bowling. There
will be hullabaloo again. This was the problem with appointing Hair
again and again as well because ICC wanted to show who has power in
this case. Yet its treatment was biased since it allowed one country
not to have Hair as an umpire for their matches but forced him on
another. It was also biased that he was given so many England games.
All it shows is that ICC is not learning.

blah blah blah.
the law has been invoked in the past, just not in test matches.

And with good reason.

it has withstood the test of time.

Instead of making a misleading statement why don't you make a precise
one.
This law came into force --------(date).
This law has been invoked by the umpires in -----------(fc games) and
0 test matches.

The time it has withstood is ------------(years) in which it was
invoked ---------- times.

I spaceman think this makes a tried tested and great law to have.

I do yeild to the blah blah blah argument.
