That shows there is no difference between the two sides. NZ had better
fielding side too. Indian batting and fielding muffed a few chances
like Harare, Barbados, twice in Sydney and so forth. Last few years it
is Indian batting has won a few away games. I don't recall even one man
of the match awardee being a bowler(other than the ones against
zimbabwe and Bangladesh). Pakistan with Wasim, Saqlain, Akhtar/Mushtaq
managed to lose to Aussies both in 1998 and 1999 as Aussie batting
neutralized them. Pakistan with a bowling attack of Wasim, Waqar,
Saqlain and Mushtaq had managed to lose to South Africa at home which
had a relatively weaker attack in comparision to Pakistan because
Symcox(and Kirsten) batted beautifully.

I am not disputing that better bowling and mediocre batting has an egde
over better batting with mediocre bowling(particularly when there is a
difference in fielding levels). But you are seriously overstating the
case by saying bowlers win matches and batsmen only save games.
