That's no different than Australia's practice during the Ashes, when
Clarke was injured and spent most of the Test in a hotel bed it was
Hodge who fielded not the 'official' 12th man. That whole business was
a smokescreen to cover Ponting's 'hissy fit'. As I pointed out here a
couple of days ago the ABC comms were having a go at Ponting over this.
