For those of you who wanted to know and couldn't find the result,
Clinton Woods won on points against Julio Gonzalez in Sheffield last
night. It was a fantastic fight, with alot of folk having it even up to
the 9th, where Clinton looked really strong over the last three to take
the decision.
I applaud Clinton for for taking on such a mandatory, rather than opting
for a soft easy first defence. To me that is the attitude of a champion.

Sounds like it was a great fight Mr Will. I read the round by round
on www.seconds.out that you provided. Thank you for doing so. Hopefully
US boxing fans will be able to see Woods in the future. I think he is an
underated fighter. I wouldn't mind seeing him get another shot at Glen
Johnson or maybe even Tarver down the line. Sounds like Gonzalez gave a
pretty good accounting of himself in defeat.
