I've been feeling a bit of pool ennui for the last year and I think Jack, at least, has too. Nothing wrong really. I think you're just experiencing life...it does exist outside of pool and there are lots of interesting things to do and learn.
I always come back to pool after a while and I keep playing regardless, for the friendship if nothing else.

btw-nice to hear from you bob.

Haven't been here in a few months. Been spending too much time trying
to learn how to play poker. You think POOL is a lucky game?
I spent the summer working out of town in a small town with no pool
table. Now back to Denver and for the first time in 28 years I don't
have the desire to get back to the table, brush up on my skills,
compete and maybe improve. It's the strangest thing. I've taken
breaks from pool before, the longest one was 1 1/2 years. But this is
the first time I've not been motivated to spend a lot of time at a
pool table.
Anyone experienced this? Is there something WRONG with me? ;-)
