did that happen? Because Dave doesnt have his head up his ass like the
rest of you, he has an open mind.

I still think deviation from a straight line is zero, or at least a lot
closer to zero than Dr. Dave's most extreme example.  That example
resulted in about 3/16" of an  deviation from the straight line path on
an 8 foot shot, at slow speed (fast speed would have been less).  Are
you actually claiming you observed this kind of deviation, repeatedly?

Note to any physicists still reading:  that was the sidespin case only,
draw / follow (which I am readier to accept) could add or subtract from
that.

Repeatedly yes, consistently no. The reason is, its a really tough
shot. You need the perfect balance of mph and rpm's on the object
ball, and cant be off even a hair in aiming. The ball needs to be
spinning left or right with a forward roll at just the right speed to
get the curve. If you think the shot is a fix, just try it. Nothing I
say should convince you more than yourself trying the shot. You will
see its dam hard, and certainly not dead.
As for whether its the draw, follow or sidespin that makes it
curve, I still cant say for sure. I would think its a combination of
some kind, but I would not really argue that. I was ready to accept
daves draw/follow explanation for the curve early on, and assumed that
there was automatically some draw or follow incorporated in what I was
doing to get the curve with the sidespin. All I know is, it curves if
you can create the proper conditions for it to happen.
