Who is this "Bob" everyone keeps referring to?
Did he at one time respond a lot to FL or something and end up in my plonker?

I took 4th place in the Open division - I lost my fifth match and then
won 14 matches in the losers bracket - about 2 1/2 days of non-stop
play. I'm gonna try to find out how many players there were this
year, we estimated around 1,400 from looking at the boards. I'm
exhausted. Looking forward to playing in the Masters singles next
year.
Watched Shane Van Boening beat Dennis Orcollo in a race to 15,
alternate break, 8-ball. I'm going to have to learn how to use the
Wei table because you have to see the shot of the match by Shane.
Dennis played safe allowing Shane to see only the edge of one of his
remaining two balls. After studying the shot for a couple minutes
Shane got out his Ginsu knife - the shot brought loud applause.
Good luck to all!

Great job Bob, thanks for the update. In another post you mention a
couple of matches you won -- are these all 8-ball (e.g. Jasmine breaking
and running the first three racks)?
And, quit stalling, you've sold us on the shot, now let's see it!

OK, this is my first try at a Wei table diagram, so I hope it works.

Shane had a solid in the top left corner pocket and Dennis sunk it
with the ten leaving Shane here. Shane was seriously considering a
masse to pocket the four and then bank the five, but I guess he
couldn't see enough of the five for that. So he finally decided on
the diagrammed shot. Had the four not been there the five would have
gone into the heart of the pocket. He hit the paint off the five at
almost break speed, never touched a stripe with the cue ball and had a
tap-in on the five for the game. The shot brought lots of applause.
