Are There Any Blind Pool Tournaments?

Yesterday a comment was made by someone regarding the decline of
shooting skills due to age with the following statement, "I don't think
eyes have ANYTHING to do with it".

For anyone that has eye problems AND has been playing the game since
teen years or at least eary adulthood and is now over 50, knows that a
statement like that is absurd.

Another poster than made a follow up to that statement by stating, "In
his mid 70's my friend Frank Lively had severe cataracts and I asked
him how he could pot the balls as well when he could hardly see them.
He told me he would just walk around to the OB, look at it up close,
then walk back to the CB and shoot at where he remembered the OB was
located".

ROTFLMAO...Frank must have been a real world beater with THAT system.
It almost gives credence to the statement that you DON'T even need good
vision to play. It might give credence except that it's total crap.
YOU MUST HAVE GOOD VISION!

However, it got me to thinking...there are BLIND golfers that play golf
and they have tournaments. Each on has an assistant that places the
club head behind the ball, chooses the proper club for distance, lines
them up and has them aiming properly, and then they strike or putt the
ball depending where they are on the golf course.

Is there such a thing as a "BLIND POOL TOURNAMENT"???
